Dear Readers,
Welcome 2008! Today, after dinner I had a butter roll, haha I can eat bread now! woohoo!
I am sorry that I've been away for so long, but I am making a note to blog at least once a week, and i'm going to keep to it.
What have I been up to? nothing much but work.
A reflection on 2007? I think it was a huge growth year for me. And if I compare myself to 'Stacy Now' and 'Stacy beginning of 2007', I'm roughly the same person, but I grew up alot.
Stacy 2007 was boy-crazy, party crazy and emotionally unstable. I went through lots heartbreaks (not love persay, more like, friendships), and learnt life lessons like:
1. movie soulmates are reserved for movies only. (i.e. i am one anti-love-at-first-sight lady now.)
2. family comes first always. and this lesson makes decisions much easier for me.
3. hardwork and effort really pays off (just in case I didn't tell you, I got 1st class honours!!!)
I've come out of 2007, more cynical, a bit bitter, but at the end of the day, I made the right decision to move back home. Life is more meaningful, and maybe if I play my cards right, I can really make a difference this year.
I miss Singapore alot, the other day I was walking by a kiosk and saw a pile of curry puffs. I wasn't hungry but bought one anyways, and it was SO LOUSY. Sigh. (not that curry puffs define singapore, but...I think you get my drift.)
But ANYWAYS, today is January 1st, and I am ready (not really but psyching myself up) to face 2008 with a fighting spirit.
My resolutions for this year are:
1. NO SOFTDRINKS.
2. Exercise at the best of my ability, 4 times a week, 45-1hour sessions
3. Fast at least 2 times a month
4. DATE. Not that i have lots of people who want to date me (far from it ==> i have ZERO) just that IF the chance comes up, and i'm MILDLY attractive to that guy, then i won't make any excuses. In the past, i've always found some reason not to go forward, not to date and not to meet people.
5. DOWN WITH MY BUBBLE!!!! step outside my bubbled sheltered life, i.e. socialise more, widen my bangkok social circle (that comprises of only jeab and neha, and they don't even live in bangkok)
6. Give 100%+ effort to the company and make it a success
7. Not go to any fortune teller this year. (last year i went to 3)
8. Keep in touch with friends
9. DOWN WITH FACEBOOK COMMUNICATIONS!!! emailing and talking on the phone and in person is so much better.
10. BE MORE UNDERSTANDING OF PEOPLE. (test my patience more)
Wish you a wonderful 2008, filled with love, happiness, good health, good wealth and amazing adventures.
Happy New Year.
Speak soon,
Stacy
